DENA CHIARCOSSI (Linda)

Dena is BLOODY THRILLED (he he) to be joining the cast of Evil Dead: the Musical! After The Rocky Horror Show (Canstage), Dena filmed Repo! The Genetic Opera and YTV’s summer flick; King of the Camp. Miss Saigon (Drayton Entertainment) and Fiddler on the Roof (Stage West) are some past favorites, as well as Disney Cruise Lines. Thanks to the WONDERFUL team of Evil Dead: the Musical and DaCosta for all the reorganizing just so I could get married! ...and always to Michael for actually wanting to marry me!

ALISON SMYTH (Cheryl)

TENJA HAGENBERG (Annie/Shelly)

After four years of being a principal singer onboard Norwegian Cruise Lines, Tenja is ready to sink her feet back into Toronto’s theatre scene and cannot think of a better way to do it then with Evil Dead! A graduate of Sheridan College’s Music Theatre program; some of her past credits include Shelley in Eight To The Bar (Bluewater Playhouse), Gladys in Copacabana, Wanda in Maggie’s Getting Married (Waterloo Stage), Chiffon in Little Shop of Horrors (St. Lawrence Stage Co.) and Lizzie in Baby. RYAN WARD (Ash)

Evil Dead: the Musical (Off B’Way, Original Cast Album *Dora Nom), Fusion (DNA), Place To Be: The Nick Drake Project (T.U.R.), Crazy Gary's Mobile Disco (Buddies). Film: Sidekick, Little Guide, Nature of Wildlife, Bioexis. Ryan has toured his plays Würn and Noctürnal Müsical throughout Canada. He wrote/directed short films Rebirth and The Fighter, both have shown at festivals in the US and CA. This spring he will be directing his first feature Son of the Sunshine. He is A.D. of Picture Box Theatre Co. which will be launching inaugural productions this summer/fall (We hope to see you there!). He holds a BFA in Acting from Ryerson. He originated the role of Ash and is happy to be back!

KRISTIAN BRUUN (Scott)

is a theatre artist born and raised in Toronto. In Canada he has worked with Soulpepper Theatre Company (Hamlet, Translations), Theatre by the Bay, Theatre Kingston and Wolfworks Productions. He is also a co-founder of the allies-all-over theatre co-op. Over the past year Kristian has been living in Berlin, Germany working with the English Language Theatre, Laugh Olympics Berlin and doing voice-over work. He was also in the London, UK premiere of Canadian playwright Jason Hall's GBS for Fish Productions and Theatre 503. Film credits include Air Hockey and Holiday Hypnosis. He is a graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy, Queen's University and the George Brown Theatre School. Kristian would like to thank Frankie, Bondo, George and everyone else at Evil Dead: the Musical for letting him be both evil and dead. Hey Mum, look who's evil now!!

TREVOR MARTIN (Ed)

is happy to be back for his third run with the Evil Dead gang. His recent credits include understudying the Second City Touring Co. and for the Second City Mainstage show "Facebook of Revelations". He is also a member of the sketch troupe Shame Is Right!, who recently produced there 4th review, "SHHHAME". Trevor would like to thank the cast and crew of EDTM, his friends and family, and Dale.

MIKE “NUG” NAHRGANG (Jake)

Nug returns for the third time as Jake. He has been seen in many commercials, and in such films as Cube: Zero, Men With Brooms, The Rocker, and The Love Guru. Nug has won 3 Canadian Comedy Awards with his sketch troupe The Minnesota Wrecking Crew and is also a well-traveled improviser. Thanks to The MWC, the gang at Second City, Jen Byrne, Aaron, the missing, the cast and crew, and Liz for the support and the ass-kickings.

TIM PORTER (Male Understudy)

Is thrilled to be a part of Evil Dead: the Musical! Tim recently graduated from St. Lawrence College. Credits include Lumiere (Beauty and the Beast), Billy Flynn (Chicago), and five seasons at the Stirling Festival Theatre. Thanks to this wonderful company, Stephen and Peter, and my loving family

ANDREA BROWN (Female Understudy)

Andrea returns to the Evil Dead cast following understudying in both the 2007 and 2004 (Just For Laughs) runs of the show. Other recent credits: Lady Windermere's Fan, Baby With the Bathwater, Moonlight & Valentino (Alumnae Theatre), Romeo & Juliet (Brampton Flower City Fest). A graduate of Queen's University and George Brown Theatre School. Love and thanks to the Irwins, Browns and husband Patrick.
